Important Maps

Resistance Sing Along
  • 11:00 am to 2:00 pm We will begin the day with music of the resistance and handing out informational materials,
  • 11:00 am - Community Tables 50501 has collaborated with multiple democracy and non-profit groups, these groups will have information tables with lots of resources, stickers, zines, and more!
  • 12:00 pm - Speakers Our speakers will focus on local and national issues, such as upcoming voting opportunities, ICE, and more.
  • 1:00 pm - THE MARCH. We will have intersection guides, chant leaders, and more to help direct the crowd in a safe direction.
  • 2:00 pm - Ring of Resistance After the march, please form a ring around the Capitol building on the sidewalks or grass closer to the middle (depends on how many activists join the circle).
  • AFTER THE PROGRAM We always will encourage MORE civil action. Feel free to continue to occupy the Capitol building without the presence of the KS 50501 coordinators and safety team. Please stay safe, and stay in line with your mission and values.

  • Use these resources to educate yourself, learn the corrupt system of justice we have now, and prepare yourself intellectually to be united with the movement.
  • Resources for the movement will be available to help you fight for democracy.
  • Share them with your friends, peers, coworkers, family, and more.

The No Kings Day March

  • No Thrones. No Kings. No Crowns.
  • The stronger our presence, the bigger the imapct.
  • Shouted by millions and carried on posters and chants, every state will unite on this day to protect our freedoms and rights:
  • 50 States. 50 Captiols. 1 Movement.
  • Gather a group of peers to attend the event with, spread the word.

The Ring of Resistance

  • After completing the march, we invite you to gather together in a ring around the Kansas Capitol.
  • There is no official end for resisting, you are welcome to continue the movement.
  • We encourage the crowd to unite by holding hands or standing shoulder to shoulder on the sidewalk or grass.
  • We will surround the People's Statehouse, aound chant or sing songs of the movemnet.
